Cleaning Training
Overview
Professional cleaning is skill that requires a broad knowledge in a wide range of areas, including planning and organization, surface materials, cleaning techniques and health and safety for chemicals, equipment and site. Untrained cleaners, without this knowledge, pose a risk to themselves, to others, the surface materials, and can contribute to significant wastage of time and cleaning products. Aside from a safety point, training is essential to promote better cleaning practices & standards and can help reduce direct costs through reduces wastages. Training will also bring in new ideas into an organization. Training is also about introducing new opportunities that could be harnessed and new ways to improve current procedures and thinking
Objectives
Upon the completion of this course, the trainees will
- Have knowledge of varieties of cleaning jobs available in Nepal and abroad.
- Have sufficient knowledge and skill on most common cleaning jobs like in home, hotel, restaurant, hospital, public place etc.
- Be able to handle all materials, machines, appliances, tools used in different types of cleaning jobs.
- Be able to proficiently carry out most frequently done jobs in cleaning like sweeping using a brush, single solution mopping, dry suction cleaning, washing, damp wiping and dusting, sanitary appliance cleaning, polish application, removing stains from carpets, and upholstery etc.
- Be well aware of personal protective equipment, infection control, first aid measures, safe disposal, hand hygiene, health and safety procedures, correct measuring, dosing and dilution of chemicals etc.

Duration
- 390 Hours/6 Months for advanced course.
